No Swimming - Pen

With this piece, I tried to create depth. The viewer eye locks onto the sign in the foreground and then, led by the fence and the gulls out over the beach to the far distant lighthouse.

he technique used in my ink drawings is a process of line work, sometimes dots, placed in layers to create shading and depth. I always work light to dark, often working over an area multiple times.
