Joe is a local self-taught landscape artist whose subjects are often centered around Lake Erie, the Cuyahoga River, or the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. His aim is to paint an inviting scene in a realistic style, hoping to evoke feelings of familiarity, serenity and beauty.

Joe is a graduate of the University of Akron where he gained a great deal of experience in the performing arts but little in the graphic arts, other than painting stage scenery.

He has been painting acrylic landscapes for over 20 years and his works have been seen in several galleries in the Falls as well as hundreds of Art/ Craft shows throughout N.E. Ohio
