Laurie Bortolotto

As a paper art enthusiast, Laurie Bortolotto was introduced to quilling by a friend and read several books to help perfect the art. Over the years, she has participated in various quilling clubs and other paper crafting groups. She has also taught others to quill through the Cuyahoga County Library.

Laurie is a teacher, mother and grandmother. Laurie says "I enjoy watching how the art of paper quilling has a way to touch the lives of others in a special way." She adds "paper quilling compliments scrapbooking, makes for a unique greeting card, creates an artful exhibit of a framed wedding invitation or important milestone announcement."

Most often, quillings are given as gifts to individuals as a lasting way to celebrate and commemorate joyous occasions that will be displayed for lasting years of remembrance.
